Robbery suspect gets prison in plea to lesser charge

URBANA – An Urbana man who admitted he possessed a stolen Cadillac was sentenced Tuesday to four years in prison.
Peter C. Campbell, 29, whose last known address was in the 2400 block of East Elm Street, pleaded guilty to that charge as his trial for armed robbery and possession of a stolen vehicle was about to begin. A jury had been selected in Champaign County Circuit Court on Monday to hear Campbell's case.
