In general, Danville election isn't a draw

DANVILLE – Gary Erickson plans to vote this month, but he might not have much company.
On April 17, Danville residents will choose whether to keep Mayor Scott Eisenhauer in office or replace him with contender Karen Jones-McKissack, as well as decide who their next aldermen will be. But if the primary election in February is any indication, many voters – perhaps thousands – might choose to stay away from the polls.
