Champaign man gets 23 years for sexual assault of a child

URBANA – A teenage girl and her mother told a Champaign County judge Wednesday how their lives have been forever changed by a man who molested the girl.
"I often wish you would die but that's too easy," the girl said, directing her remarks to Jackie Allen, whose last known address was in the 900 block of West Tremont Street, Champaign.
