Brief talks produce 3-year contract for Georgetown teachers

GEORGETOWN – School officials have approved a three-year contract with the teachers' union after what both sides said was a brief, cordial negotiation.

Jack Morrison, the president of the Georgetown-Ridge Farm School Board, on Monday said the most recent negotiations were the easiest he has experienced in his years on the board.
