Hoopeston residents meet to talk about plans for future

HOOPESTON – Some 50 to 60 Hoopeston local residents filled St. Anthony's Parish Hall recently to talk about the future of their city.

The diverse group of residents met with Western Illinois University's Illinois Institute for Rural America in the first of two visionary sessions for community and economic development of Hoopeston.
