Hoopeston man arrested after standoff

DANVILLE – A 21-year-old Hoopeston man on Monday was charged with reckless discharge of a firearm.
Kip A. Menschel was arrested early Sunday morning following a 3 1/2- hour standoff with police, Hoopeston Police Chief Mark Drollinger said.
