TUSCOLA – A new police squad car and fire department rescue truck, improvements to a major street and a park, planning for the future of the pool and higher salaries for employees are all part of a new budget approved by the Tuscola City Council on Monday night.
The council voted 8-0 to approve the 2007-08 budget, which includes no program cuts, no new programs and no personnel cuts other than the elimination of concession stand workers at the city pool.
