At least two area banks looking at divested sites

CHAMPAIGN – At least two area banks say they're interested in the possibility of acquiring five branches being divested by Main Street Bank & Trust.
"We definitely have an interest in that opportunity," said Thomas Daiber, president of Centrue Bank, which has offices in Champaign and Urbana.
