URBANA – Alderman Dennis Roberts likes the idea of neighborhood conservation districts.
"I think it's going to be a very useful tool for different parts of the city, to be able to propose their own conservation districts setting their own rules for infill development, setting appropriate massing and sizing and architectural details (for buildings) to help new buildings blend in with the style of the existing neighborhood structures," said Roberts, a Ward 5 Democrat.
