Champaign County Humane Society to get new director

URBANA – The Champaign County Humane Society will undergo a change of leadership later this summer.
Jason Smith, who took over as executive director in December 2004, has resigned, effective early August, and Mary Tiefenbrunn, a humane society board member for two years, will take over Sept. 3.
