Ex-Vermilion County man dies on lake

TULSA, Okla. – A former Vermilion County man died in a boating accident Saturday on a lake northwest of Tulsa.
According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Ronald Dean Gildersleeve, 57, of Tulsa, was killed when the pontoon boat he was using on the lake was hit by a 31-foot-long cabin cruiser at about 7:30 p.m. on Skiatook Lake.
