Sangamon Township resolution opposing plant fails to pass

WHITE HEATH – With a vote of two in favor and one present, the Sangamon Township Board filed but did not pass a resolution opposing construction of the El Milagro/Clarkson Grain corn processing plant in the township, before a heavily anti-plant audience.
The board previously passed a resolution against building the plant at a site in Lodge.
