Ex-Uni High track coach gets 12 years in absentia

URBANA – Although he wasn't present to hear it, a former University Laboratory High School assistant track coach received a 12-year prison sentence for engaging in a sex act with a student.
Judge Jeff Ford said Yuri Ermakov, 25, formerly of Urbana and now believed to be in Moscow, "worked" the teenage girls who were so enamored with him.
