Sign-ups for winter aid under way

URBANA – After a tumultuous summer, a government energy-assistance program is turning its attention to winter power bills.

Sign-ups began this week for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program's winter heating grants, coordinated locally by the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission.
