Danville man found dead on porch

DANVILLE – Danville firefighters rushed to a house fire Tuesday morning on Bowman Avenue and found the man who lived there lying on the front porch.
The man, whose name is not being released until relatives are notified, was pronounced dead at the scene of the fire at 9:18 a.m., according to the Vermilion County coroner's office.
