Champaign Freemasons open 95-year-old time capsule

Rob Beoldon, a past master of the Champaign Masonic Center, arranges the items removed from a time capsule Saturday at the center in Champaign.

They didn't find Jimmy Hoffa. No bars of gold, either.

But the 1912 copper box, sealed with lead, did provide a glimpse of life in Champaign a century ago.

The speed limit then? Ten miles per hour.
