Area collection of yard waste getting under way

Fall leaf and yard-waste collection has begun, or will begin, in Champaign and Urbana.
In Champaign, yard-waste collection starts Monday and will run through Dec. 14. The city accepts leaves in approved 30-gallon paper sacks, and bundles of twigs and branches bound by nonmetallic twine.
