SPRINGFIELD – Danville Mayor Scott Eisenhauer has officially entered the race to replace retiring state Rep. Bill Black, R-Danville.

Eisenhauer filed his 104th District nominating petitions with the State Board of Elections on Monday, the final day to register. He faces Danville Alderman Terry Baldwin in the Feb. 5 Republican primary. Baldwin also is a teacher in Urbana. No candidates filed to run in the Democrat primary, but the party could still slate someone before the general election next November.
