With one school district already opting out of a feasibility study to determine whether five area high schools should close their doors, it is up to four districts to determine the potential fate of their schools.
The school boards for Arthur, Atwood-Hammond, Bement and Cerro Gordo are voting this month to decide whether a four-month feasibility study should be conducted by William Phillips and colleagues at the University of Illinois at Springfield.
