Teen charged with taking gun to school

CHAMPAIGN – A 17-year-old, Kevin Cooper, is charged with taking a gun to Champaign Central High School on Thursday.
Cooper, whose address is in the 700 block of Ashton Lane in Champaign, allegedly showed someone the handgun at about 1:30 p.m. while they were at school.
