On the front (shopping) line

CHAMPAIGN – I'm not sure what possessed me to go. Maybe the lure of glossy sales fliers in my Thursday paper enticed me.
Or it could be the lore surrounding Black Friday. It's the loved (and hated) first official shopping day of the holiday season. I know diehards who treat it like a sport.
