ARCOLA – "Mi raza" translates literally to "my race" in Spanish, but at Arcola's Mi Raza Community Center, it's easy to see why it's loosely understood as "my people."
"It's pulled people together," said Amanda Minor, administrator at the Douglas County Health Department. "It's a community center."
