Man dies in car-pedestrian accident

URBANA – A 59-year-old man from China was killed in a car-pedestrian accident in Urbana Wednesday evening.
Jiyan Zhang was pronounced dead at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday at Carle Foundation Hospital. Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup said the cause of death is being attributed to traumatic head injury. No autopsy will be performed.
