Republicans pick new member for District 3

URBANA – Champaign County Republicans picked a veteran business leader for the county board seat being given up by Scott Tapley in District 3.
Al Nudo, 59, the longtime president of Robeson's Inc., was selected Wednesday evening in the second round of a caucus from a remarkable field of candidates, said Joan Dykstra, a Savoy Village Board member and former county board member.
