FISHER – It turns out that certain expenses village officials thought could be paid for out of tax increment financing funds can't be.
Fisher Mayor Ron Adams told the village board Thursday night that after hearing from the village's auditor, the purchase of a leaf vacuum, a used bucket truck, a mower and some testing equipment for the sewer department must be paid for out of general funds. That amounted to more than $40,000 worth of equipment.
