Campus union ratifies contract

A campus union representing about 700 University of Illinois employees has ratified its new contract with the university.
Service Employees International Union Local 73, Chapter 119, made up of building and food service workers at the university, approved a four-year contract that provides for annual raises of at least 2.5 percent and reduced rates for parking on campus.
