Fatal car accident still under investigation

SAVOY – Champaign County sheriff's deputies continue to investigate a three-vehicle accident that killed an Ivesdale woman Thursday afternoon. A Longview man who fled the scene was arrested about 90 minutes later for drunken driving.
Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup said Mauna Adams, 58, of Ivesdale was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on the Monticello Road overpass over Interstate 57 at 1:30 p.m.
