CHAMPAIGN – What is this holiday called Kwanzaa?
To Dawn Blackman, who led a Kwanzaa celebration at the Douglass Branch of the Champaign Public Library on Saturday evening, it is a seven-day celebration of African-American culture, a remembrance of ancestors and a reminder of principles like community responsi-bility, cooperative economics and unity.
