Shooting near Legion hall leaves one dead, two hurt

American Legion Post 559 at 704 N. Hickory in Champaign was the scene of a fatal shooting early Sunday.
CHAMPAIGN – An autopsy was to be conducted today on a Springfield man who was shot in Champaign in an incident that left two others wounded.
The shooting happened early Sunday in Champaign, and police say nothing indicates it was related to a shooting near the same location in October.
