Catlin officials want meth lab houses razed

CATLIN – Village officials said Tuesday they would like to explore the idea of trying to obtain and possibly remove houses in the community that had been used as methamphetamine labs.

Mayor Clay Woodard said hazardous residue from the chemicals used to make methamphetamines may remain on the furniture, carpeting and walls even after the chemicals have been removed.
