Enforcement of rental policy to begin March 1

DANVILLE – Beginning March 1, owners of unregistered rental property will face hefty fines and a mandatory interior inspection, city officials said.
The city council's public services committee learned Wednesday night of the city administration's plans to enforce the newly revised rental registration ordinance.
