Man found shot to death in Urbana

URBANA – An autopsy will be done today to determine the cause of death for a man murdered in Urbana.
Paris L. Thompson, 35, who had been living at an apartment at 1713 E. Florida Ave., was pronounced dead at 7:27 p.m. Wednesday at Carle Foundation Hospital, according to Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup. An inquest may be held later, he said.
