Torriano Johnson, 32, whose last known address was in the 500 block of Fairlawn Drive, pleaded guilty Thursday before Champaign County Judge Heidi Ladd to the attempted first-degree murder of Karen McNutt-Peeples, his girlfriend's sister, and aggravated discharge of a firearm for shooting at Champaign police Officer Justus Clinton.
