New hope for Piatt County strays

MONTICELLO – A 12-week-old kitten named Darbi squirmed on the floor of Diana McPheeters' home in Monticello, but quickly began to purr when McPheeters picked her up for a feeding.
Two weeks ago, Darbi had been found abandoned on a front porch in LaPlace, covered with leaves.
