A poster in the Illini Union reminds University of Illinois students to register their e-mail and mobile phones to allow the UI to send messages to subscribers in the event of an emergency.
Have you signed up yet?
The University of Illinois is reminding students, faculty and staff to enroll in a campus emergency messaging system that would alert them to such emergencies as a building fire or a shooter on the loose.
