Grant will bring writers, students together

Imagine if J.K. Rowling or Toni Morrison gave high school literature lessons – or Stephen Hawking led fourth-grade science class. Writing assignments might look a little different.

Those masters might not end up in front of a local classroom, but several other talented writers might emerge at the blackboard come August – and they might be teachers who've been there all along.
