Building owner plans to challenge daily fine

Hotel Harwal owner Eric Williams is now required to pay $100 a day in fines until he makes repairs on the Danville building.
DANVILLE – The owner of the Harwal Hotel faces more sanctions for failing to make repairs on the building.
At a status hearing late last week, a municipal court judge ordered Eric Williams to pay $100 a day, beginning Feb. 7, until repairs are completed. Williams did not attend the hearing.
