Citizens speak against fire department cuts

DANVILLE – A handful of firefighters and some of their family members spoke out Tuesday night against a budget proposal to cut nine firefighter positions and close one of the city's four fire stations.
Meanwhile, Mayor Scott Eisenhauer said he is reconsidering the idea of closing a station.
