Recently freed convict arrested on new charges

URBANA – A homeless man released from federal prison less than a month ago is back in police custody on a number of charges, including an attack on an Urbana police officer.
Dwight Wishard, 49, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Monday after police were called to the 300 block of High Street by a woman who reported that a man in a black hooded sweatshirt was repeatedly ringing her doorbell.
