CHAMPAIGN – Harry R. Querry of Urbana is a senior citizen who took a little while to walk up to the microphone Thursday night at a public hearing held by the Illinois Commerce Commission about AmerenIP's proposed rate increases for electricity and natural gas.
Speaking softly but firmly, Querry appeared to touch a nerve with the audience, which exceeded 100 people, at the Champaign City Building.
