GIBSON CITY – Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley board members met a delay in plans for a much-discussed all-purpose building they hoped to build this summer on the high school athletic field.
This time the delay comes from "a lack of communication" between the school's architect and a potential builder, according to Superintendent Chuck Aubry. A timeline called for initial plans to be available prior to Monday's meeting, but since the board did not have either the plan or final cost estimates from the experts, members decided not to go any further with it Monday.
