Gibson City Council to OK police mutual aid agreements

GIBSON CITY – City council members agreed despite lingering concerns that they will approve two intergovernmental police agreements that formalize mutual aid among Gibson City, Paxton and Ford County.

Police Chief Steve Cushman explained that "routine" police work could include such cross-jurisdictional investigations as the recent Operation Pyramid drug arrests.
