Officers meet in Danville today to plan training

DANVILLE – As the largest Illinois Army National Guard call-up since World War II approaches, officers are planning June training exercises in Danville today.

Pfc. Lalita Laksbergs, a public affairs specialist in Springfield, said Tuesday that 50 to 60 officers will be at Danville's Masonic Center, 109 W. North St., for the planning meeting.
