Sidney officials discuss ways to remove old water plant

SIDNEY – Sidney officials would like to get rid of the village's abandoned water treatment plant, but it won't be easy.
The village board Monday discussed options for razing the structure located under the water tower. The plant became obsolete years ago when Northern Illinois Water Corporation bought Sidney's water system.
