Rantoul towing could rise tenfold with plan

RANTOUL – Rantoul police seized and had towed away 39 vehicles in 2007 because their drivers were arrested.
If a proposed ordinance change is passed on Tuesday night, as many as 10 times that many cars could be impounded.
