Graduating student a leader at Parkland

After graduating from Parkland on Friday, Mabinty Tarawallie will enroll at the University of Illinois in the fall to pursue a sociology degree.
CHAMPAIGN – Mabinty Tarawallie sees many of her Parkland College classmates coming to campus for their classes and then going home. They aren't involved in activities at the college.
They are missing out, she says.
