DANVILLE – The Newell Township road commissioner and his predecessor each pleaded innocent Tuesday during their separate arraignments on felony charges.
Richard "Pete" Powell, 60, of rural Danville, faces six counts of theft of government property – three are Class 2 felonies, and three are Class 4; six counts of official misconduct; and one count of not having a firearm owner's identification card, a Class A misdemeanor.
