DANVILLE – The Social Security Administration plans to move its local offices from Voorhees Street into a new building in the center of the city, bringing more workers downtown.

Construction on the new 7,500-square-foot stucco building is expected to begin in six weeks at the empty lot on the northwest corner of Vermilion and Seminary streets across from the New Holland Apartment complex.
