TUSCOLA – Douglas County finished its last fiscal year in good shape.
An audit showed that the county's net assets increased $1.4 million during the fiscal year that ended last November, said Joe Daughhetee, an auditor of DBH and Associates in Danville, at Wednesday's county board meeting. Assets increased from about $19.1 million last year to about $20.4 million this year.
