Vehicles line up for $3.89 gasoline in Urbana

URBANA – Saving 20 cents a gallon on gasoline was worth the half-hour wait for dozens of drivers in Urbana this morning.
The Circle K Marathon at 1605 N. Cunningham Ave., U, started offering a one-day special promotion this morning, chopping 5 percent off the cost of a gallon of gasoline for today only. For drivers, that meant $3.89 per gallon of unleaded, compared with $4.09 per gallon at nearby stations.
